Robin WIlliamss strikebreaker imitate sets off a tellurian sequence of offence

Australians competence similar to to think that they have a clarity of humour, but when Robin Williams, the US comedian, describes them as fundamentally English rednecks even the Prime Minister gets involved.

Talking on The Late Show with David Letterman, Williams told the audience of millions that Australians are fundamentally English rednecks before yelling in an farfetched Australian accent: You down there, how are ya? Good to see you. Hello!

Williams, 58, who outlayed dual weeks in Australia in Feb filming Happy Feet 2, went on to collate Australian Rules football to rugby with a thong and joked that Kevin Rudd, the Prime Minister, had heckled him during a new concert.
